Cloudy Sunrise in Tenby

Cloudy sunrise in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales

The sunrise in Tenby breaking through the clouds. If I lived by the sea I think I could easily get out of bed early to catch the golden hour and the sunrise. On holiday it is a great start to the day, to be on the beach and watch the sun come up, even if it is sneaking through the clouds.
The picture above was taken around the corner from Tenby Harbour. To the right of the picture are the old and new RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution)
The building with the orange roof is the old lifeboat station, over a hundred years old, which is a grade II listed building. In 2010 it was converted to a 4 bedroom holiday home, with the conversion featuring on the British TV show, Grand Designs.
Behind that is the modern RNLI lifeboat station.

Tenby Harbour and Castle Hill.

This picture of Tenby clearly shows the harbour and the two lifeboat stations to the left of castle Hill.

Photos like this sunrise in Tenby can be tricky, and this one did take a bit of RAW processing to bring up the sunrise, but I do like the way the sun is breaking through the cloud cover and reflecting off the water.
