After Cream, the only thing of his I enjoyed was 461 Ocean Boulevard.
He was a trailblazer and had some great phrasing, without question, but he never seemed to develop beyond the (self imposed?) limitations of the pentatonic scale.

Saw Santana for the very first time this year, in Johannesburg.
Was a good gig.

Never seen Clapton. Not a guitarist I have ever been truly enamoured with. But he was great in Cream.

Clapton has always been a favourite of mine, though I never really identified him as a specific artist in the Cream days.
