What a beautiful sunrise over the sea at Teignmouth. Pink and silver with an interesting cloud silhouette. The sun is just starting to rise over the horizon, putting the valley below into silhouette.
Earlier in October 2020, we took a little getaway, for a week, to Teignmouth in South Devon in the UK. Just a few hours drive put us in a this beautiful spot at Upper Holcombe farm in Teignmouth. Just a few metres from our cottage was a beautiful view down the valley over Holcombe village, looking east. Just right for a few sunset photos.
With the sun only rising well after 7:00 a.m. getting out of bed at that time of day was no problem. It was October, so it was cool but well worth the effort.
As any sunrise, or sunset, photographer knows, each one is unique. I took a number from this spot (watch this space), but this was, by far, the most striking.
