Autumn Sunset Tree Reflections

Golden trees reflected in the lake as they catch the autumn sunset.

Getting the picture is a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Sometimes a bit of careful planning can trip you up. This was the case in the picture above.
Common sense said it was too late to go to the lake – the light would have gone. But I went anyway, in time to catch the reflections of the sunset catching the trees. Just to compound the whole story, I came away thinking that was a waste of time – no useful pictures. That was until I put them on the computer yesterday.
