November at the Lake.
A cool and crisp morning in November. There’s still a touch of autumn in the orange and gold leaves, but the tall trees have lost their leaves. The trees and sky are reflected in the calm lake.
Taken at St. James Lake, Brackley in Northamptonshire, England.

A striking red boat in the harbour at Tenby one morning, not long after sunrise.
The red boat really stood out amongst the colours of the buildings above the harbour.
Another of my favourite images from a visit to that gem of the Welsh coast, Tenby. The striking red colour made this boat really stand out against the colours of the buildings above Tenby Harbour.
A view from the Victoria and Alfred (V & A) waterfront in Capetown, with Table Mountain in the background.
Of course, there is a table cloth on Table Mountain.
A view from the Victoria and Alfred (V & A) waterfront in Capetown, with Table Mountain in the background. The cable car terminal at the top of the mountain is clearly visible. Of course, there is a table cloth on Table Mountain.
A panorama (stitched) picture of Tenby harbour, taken in the golden hour, a little after the sunrise. The buildings are each painted a different colour, presenting an interesting picture in the morning light, under a partly cloudy sky.
I need another trip to that Welsh jewel, Tenby. Here is a photo which is popular on my photo galleries. It was taken on a previous trip to Tenby. Catching up on my portfolio, this time with a selection of swan photos. My 2021 is turning into a year even more forgettable that 2020. With a whole lot of free time and some sunny weather, it should be a good time to be getting out and about. A small foot injury has put me…
Lily of the Valley flowers in a pot in the garden. As spring moves towards summer every year this pretty little white flowers bloom in a pot in our garden. Always a welcome sight, we do watch for them to appear. In fact, this year, they have self-seeded to the point where we will need…
Always a welcome sight when we see this pink rose flowering in our garden. It means summer is here! I have a selection of photos, over the years, of this rose. I particularly like this mist y effect, so that’s the one I have posted in my galleries. Here it is, on a slightly darker…
Sunset at Oia in Santorini with a tour boat’s masts in silhouette. The sunset at Oia is beautiful. You can watch it from the land or from a boat on the sea. Taken from our boat.
Under clouds and blue sky that is Dawlish on the coast, looking towards Exmouth.
The sea wall and accompanying paths offer a good walk from the town, taking in sandy beaches when the tide is out.
Dawlish is a coastal resort town, often considered part of the British Riviera, along with Teignmouth and the Torbay towns.
