If you are on holiday what better way to spend the day than a day chilling on the beach. In this case Nerja beach on th Costa del Sol.
Of course a bit of ice cream is mandatory on a beach holiday.
Nerja is one of those places. You discover it while looking for a place to have a holiday, then find half your friends have been there and loved it. In simple travel terms, Nerja is about an hour’s drive from Malaga, meaning that a flight into Malaga and a transfer will get you there. Depending on where you stay you can be right on the beach, or a 10 to 15 minute walk away.
We chose to go in May, as we don’t have to worry about kids and school holidays. It was early season but there were enough German, Scandinavian and a few British tourists around to ensure that all the main places were open. Seas were cold, but the sun warm. The seafood and wine and cliff side view were great.
Lookup Nerja – a good, not commonly mentioned, Spanish holiday spot.
