The sun is still below the horizon but it is lighting up the clouds to announce that it is about to burst out of the sea.
In April of 2022 we took a trip to Ballito on KwaZulu Natal’s Dolphin Coast. Our timing was terrible. We arrived for the aftermath of massive storms and floods, resulting in messy beaches, water supply problems and the like. Fortunately we had a top floor apartment at Ballito Manor, with a great view of the sea, directly over Willard Beach.
Getting up early gave me a chance to grab these two photos, and enjoy the start of the day with this view.
